Privacy Policy

The party responsible for data processing on this website is Comradi, reachable at hallo@comradi.com. Comradi complies with the Swiss Data Protection Act (DSG) and, where applicable, the GDPR.

When you visit our website, technical data is collected automatically, such as your IP address, browser type and pages visited. This data is used solely for the operation and improvement of the service and is not shared with third parties. If you fill out a contact form or reach us by email, we store the data you provide in order to process your enquiry.

When you create an account on Comradi, we store your name, email address and an encrypted password. If your account is linked to an organisation, we store that association too. We use your email address solely for account management and system-critical communications (e.g. password reset). We only send marketing emails with your explicit consent. To register independently, users must be at least 16 years old. Users under 16 may use the platform only with the consent and under the supervision of a parent or guardian.

We only process your data on a valid legal basis. Account creation and contact requests: performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Server logs and technical access data: legitimate interest in the secure operation of the platform (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Analytics cookies: only with your explicit consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

Comradi uses technically necessary cookies required for the smooth operation of the website (e.g. language preference, session). We may also use analytics cookies to understand website usage in an anonymised manner and improve our offering. You can disable cookies in your browser settings at any time. Cookies in use: – Session cookie (necessary): deleted automatically when the browser is closed. Used to maintain the user session. – __stripe_mid, __stripe_sid (functional): set by Stripe.js on payment pages for fraud prevention purposes. Lifetime: up to 1 year. Stripe's privacy policy applies (stripe.com/privacy). – OpenStreetMap: Comradi embeds map tiles from OpenStreetMap. We may use analytics services to collect aggregated, anonymised usage statistics. No personal profiles are created. IP addresses are anonymised before analysis.

For the map view in organisation search we use Leaflet with map data from OpenStreetMap (openstreetmap.org). When the map loads, data including your IP address may be transmitted to OpenStreetMap tile servers; the OpenStreetMap Foundation privacy policy applies. Further third-party services (e.g. analytics) may be added; we will document them in this policy.

We delete or anonymise data once the purpose for which it was collected no longer applies. Specific periods: server logs (IP address, access times) 30 days; contact form messages 12 months after the request is resolved; user accounts for as long as they are active, and within 30 days of a deletion request; user-generated organisation data until deleted by the organisation or upon request.

You have the right to access, rectify, erase and restrict the processing of your data, as well as the right to data portability. You can exercise your right to data portability directly in your account settings under 'Export my data'; for further requests, contact hallo@comradi.com. You may object at any time to processing based on legitimate interest. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC): www.edoeb.admin.ch. If you are resident in the EU, you may additionally contact the data protection authority of your country.

Comradi implements technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse. Transmission is encrypted (HTTPS).
